Hey everyone.
I finally have some time to write a decent tour blog. The past 5 shows have been amazing and hectic. Austin was fun . Had a good time playing with Sparklemotion. Erick and Gabe(producers of the album) were both able to make the show.Gabe was also kind enough to loan us his ol Sparta case to protect Nina's head.
Not her head... her guitar head. haha..cheesy
Anyway, after the gig we got time in and headed out to Ok. Stopped a little outside of Waco to get some sleep. Next morning got to the venue and saw Joan and Kenny. Right away they greeted us with warm hugs and welcomes. The show was amazing and watching Joan up there is always inspiring. After the gig we got more driving in and got some rest.
Got to Fitzgerald in Houston... always heard about that venue.. but never played. Really rad place.
Really fast and off subject, Thank you miss Sarah in a Coma.. for coming to san antonio... then houston.. then corpus. :)
We had lots o fun hanging out with ya...
so back on track...
the gig was great. we stayed with abrahan (who you can catch in the extras at the end of my life with morrissey...rent it....its so stupid,,, its great)
he took us to a great bar that night called the tall texan which is the coolest bar... abrahan is rad
nextmorning headed to corpus...
first thing we noticed was the cutest little girl wearing a shirt she made... which said "kiki in a coma"
she even came on stage and danced with us. we luv you kiki!! thanks to leo for being so sweet and having a rocking band... and at the playground for the rad set.
last nite gig was intimate.... watched the spurs play on the big screen.. and met up with our valley friends. the cover band after us was great. johnny, the singer, has a great voice and played all the great classics.. like the cure, erasure, soft cell etc... nina even joined him on stage for some depeche mode.
so tonight we are in harlingen... relaxing in our room. nina is passed out and jenn just finished playing an intense game of driver 2. i think i need some sleep...
